Crash! Boom! Bang!

www.myspace.com/crashboombang

These guys are really good! I first heard them on a local radio show that showcases local bands. I really like their music, my favorite song, 'Are You Ready?'.

Some Pictures...

This is a butterfly I found out in my yard. I thought it was cool so I took a picture.

Old Eastern Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland.

My family went fishing a few nights ago and I thought the sunset was really pretty.

Just thought this was cool, made my daya little better!
These pictures, and bunch from 30 Seconds to Mars concert and Echelon stuff, are all on Flickr.com. hopelessly_taken_826 is my user name if you want to check oout my other pictures!

Bored...

I'm sitting in health bored to death. This is one of my least favorite classes. I'm bored and I have a giant headache. I'm for sure not paying attention. I drew my friend a picture and I've been spacing out all class. I can't focus today because I just not into it. I have anexciting weekend ahead of me and I just want it to be here. Friday, I'm going to the mall, Saturday I'm going to a party and Sunday I'm probly going to makke my friends do something with me.

To be honest, I'm so far into my own little world right now that I have no idea what the class is even talking about... I usually like school but today my friend's idea of running away to be a groupie/stalker sounds like a good time. I have 10 minutes until lunch then I only have to endure one more class before I go home.

I started writing this post at 11:30-ish. My internet decided that it didn't want to stay connected, so I couldn't post it right away.

Yes, this is a cult. But please, stop asking.

As I said in my last post, I finally got my Thirty Seconds to Mars bracelet. Exciting, right?! I've worn it to school the past two days and so far, 15 people have asked what it was. One person asked me if I was in a cult. I answered yes, just to see her reaction. I like that people notice it but please, ask me while I'm not trying to learn.

Echelon, FOR THE WIN!!

VMA's 2010, pretty frikkin' cool! I was so excited for this year's award show (mostly because 30 Seconds to Mars was nominated for a few things). The preformances were great, and as always, fashion was intense. Lady Gaga came looking a bit insane but still classy and unique. Justin Bieber's preformance was very good and I'm not a big fan, but I liked it! All of the preformances were great. Enterances were interesting. 30 Seconds to Mars rode onto the white carpet on their bikes from the Kings and Queens video, that won Best Rock Video of 2010. They were also nominated to win Best Video of the Year, but Lady Gaga won that...
I was very excited to see Mars win Rock Video of the year for obvious reasons.  So the Echelon came together in the end and brought 30 Seconds to Mars a big win! Good job, my fellow crazy fans!!

And my bracelet finally came today!! YAY!

Links and Such :)

With a new school year, comes a new book to read. This time I changed it up a bit(not really). I'm reading Blackwood Farm by Anne Rice. I'm not to far into the book, but so far I love it! I really like the way Anne Rice writes and that's why I keep reading her books. The characters in this book are great. Lestat is my favorite character in the Vampire Chronicles series, but I'm really likeing the new character, Quinn. I would for sure recomend this book.

My latest TV addiction is Viva La Bam reruns on MTV2. I blame my best friends for this TV addction. They were the first ones to show me an episode. I'm watching an episode while I write this post actually... It's really funny. I need a life, really badly.

Last friday, I ordered an Echelon wristband. It was supposed to get here today, so I ran down my driveway like a complete idiot to the mailbox. It didn't come today. I was sad. I did make my own bracelet and had to explain it to like, 9 people in school. Here's waht I ordered. I bought the red one. http://30secondstomars.shop.musictoday.com/Dept.aspx?cp=366_35374

I also signed up for The Rogue Echelon mailing list the other day. I've gotten like 7 emails from them already.
Here's the link to the main page.

And if anyone knows anything about this promised "Endless Summer", please let me know where I can sign up. Thanks!

P.S.- I think I'm going to change the name of the blog.

Au Revoir, Summer 2010!

School started today. Everything went well. I have two classes and lunch with my best friend. The locker that I was given doesn't shut all the way. I can see this becoming a problem. I also have gym everyday. I hate gym class, not because I'm out of shape or anything, I just don't like team sports.

Every class or grade has that one weird kid. You know that kid who kind of scares everyone else and stays with one little group of equally weird friends? Yeah, that's me. I'm the kind of scary, almost "emo" type kid. I like  black eyeliner and you can hear my music through my headphones in the morning when I try to tune everyone out. And I'm not listening to Justin Bieber, that's for sure! I wear alot of bracelets and I write things on my hands. I've also threatened to bite people when they make me angry. So its safe to say I'm not super popular.

During school hours, I try to act normal.

I mentioned something about bracelets before... I'm currently waiting for my Thirty Seconds to Mars Echelon bracelet to come in the mail. I ordered it last friday and the order thinng said 5-7 days. If you're wondering or even care, I got the red one 'cause I have alot of black jewelry and clothes. Its nice to mix it up a bit every now and then.

Thirty Seconds to Mars concert Sept. 1st @ Sonar in Baltimore

Thirty Seconds to Mars concert can be summed up in one word: INTENSE. It was so much fun! I went with my two best friends. The line to get in the venue was very long. It wraped around the building. The doors opened at 7 pm. We were almost in the door when I noticed a neat looking bike. I pointed it out to my friends and turns out, it was Jared Leto. I think we were the only people to notice because no one else even looked in that direction. This is when I really started freaking out. My friend had started crying when she saw the tour buses so I didn't win the prize for the most freak-outs.

We made it into the venue and almost to the front of the crowd. It was about 7:20pm and we thought  that the warm up band would play and then Thirty Seconds to Mars would play. I expected to be on the way home by 10:30pm. Well, they didn't start their set until 10:00 pm. Me and my friends left the main room to go get water and hit up the merch stand before it got crazy. I got a poster, a program and a shirt. After we bought stuff and had a bottle of water, we wanted to get back into the mosh pit. How did we do it: "MY SISTER! SHE'S STUCK IN THERE! PLEASE LET US BY!" It worked alot better than I thought it would.

I have no idea how, but by the 5th song, we had made it to the front of the crowd. Now when I say front, I mean I was hanging off over the barricade, an arm's length away from the stage. It was awesome! I got some great pictures from where I was standing, even though I had a guy with combat boots dropped on me (he was crowd surfing).

After the concert, we hung around the stage for a few minutes and my friend got a set list from one of the guards. She was extremely happy. I found a bracelet on the ground. Its a beaded braelet with the triad in the design. My friend informed me that she saw some one drop it after they pulled it off the singer when he stood on the barrier. I cried.

Over all, an awesome night. We left Sonar sweaty and tired, but we had alot of fun! Here are some pictures!
A little blurry... but you can see Tomo's cool tattoos
Notice Shan throwing one of his drumsticks into the crowd.
I clipped these from a video. This was their last song and they played Kings and Queens.
Tomo!
This picture is not zoomed in. That's how close to the stage we were! The first picture is clipped from a video and it is zoomed one time.

Thirty Seconds to Mars Concert!!

I've been talking about it for the past few weeks and  now, I only have hours to wait!! Tonight is the Thirty Seconds to Mars concert at Sonar in Baltimore. I'm so excited! And so is my best friend who will going with me. We're both crazy fans. My friend loves Tomo, like, ALOT. I know she's going to freak out before we get in the door. I really can't say anything though, I know I'm going to be a crazy shiney-eyed, sobbing fan girl. I can't wait!

I'll have pictures up tomorrow or soon after that!
