Thirty Seconds to Mars concert Sept. 1st @ Sonar in Baltimore

Thirty Seconds to Mars concert can be summed up in one word: INTENSE. It was so much fun! I went with my two best friends. The line to get in the venue was very long. It wraped around the building. The doors opened at 7 pm. We were almost in the door when I noticed a neat looking bike. I pointed it out to my friends and turns out, it was Jared Leto. I think we were the only people to notice because no one else even looked in that direction. This is when I really started freaking out. My friend had started crying when she saw the tour buses so I didn't win the prize for the most freak-outs.

We made it into the venue and almost to the front of the crowd. It was about 7:20pm and we thought  that the warm up band would play and then Thirty Seconds to Mars would play. I expected to be on the way home by 10:30pm. Well, they didn't start their set until 10:00 pm. Me and my friends left the main room to go get water and hit up the merch stand before it got crazy. I got a poster, a program and a shirt. After we bought stuff and had a bottle of water, we wanted to get back into the mosh pit. How did we do it: "MY SISTER! SHE'S STUCK IN THERE! PLEASE LET US BY!" It worked alot better than I thought it would.

I have no idea how, but by the 5th song, we had made it to the front of the crowd. Now when I say front, I mean I was hanging off over the barricade, an arm's length away from the stage. It was awesome! I got some great pictures from where I was standing, even though I had a guy with combat boots dropped on me (he was crowd surfing).

After the concert, we hung around the stage for a few minutes and my friend got a set list from one of the guards. She was extremely happy. I found a bracelet on the ground. Its a beaded braelet with the triad in the design. My friend informed me that she saw some one drop it after they pulled it off the singer when he stood on the barrier. I cried.

Over all, an awesome night. We left Sonar sweaty and tired, but we had alot of fun! Here are some pictures!
A little blurry... but you can see Tomo's cool tattoos
Notice Shan throwing one of his drumsticks into the crowd.
I clipped these from a video. This was their last song and they played Kings and Queens.
Tomo!
This picture is not zoomed in. That's how close to the stage we were! The first picture is clipped from a video and it is zoomed one time.
